But, I have to admit that going to a thrift store just doesn't feel quite the same as cruising neighborhoods early in the morning with a friend looking for bargains, teehee.

mab3oos, buying stuff from a flea market is (see above) a very different thing in a way that's ahrd to describe, but I did JUST become aware of the markets bil balad after 2 yers! living here. Shame on El 3atal. And, it's probably a Western thing, but T's directions are just right :).MommaBeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04452302193049028569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26662000.post-80577519156783954832008-02-29T23:34:00.000-08:002008-02-29T23:34:00.000-08:00There are plenty Garage Sales in Jordan. It is very popular!

Joladies,
I am from Amman but never ever was I more confused by directions than the way you are giving them. They have a nearly new shop and welcome any donations. If you want books they have a lot for sale. Go down any week day after 10. At the 7th go to the 8th (not under the tunnel) take first turning right, turn left at T then first right. Drive to second mini roundabout and turn left and the Al Hussein Society is at the end of the road before it turns right on the left hand side.
