New friends, by jove it's a wallaby (I think)
So, recently El 3atal and I took some out of town guests to Petra to experience the beauty of the Jordanian past. After trekking (via donkey) up to the monastery, we met a world traveler. I understand from his escorts that he has his own website, but I haven't been able to find it. Of course, that may be owing to the fact that I can't quite remember his name... However, I did find that he also made it to a bicycle race. Check out this site, with pic: http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2005/aug05/mtbworlds05/?id=mtbworlds058/_DSC0026
Like Elmo (who calls them pouchy-roos), I too love to share. Okay, maybe I'm mixing Elmos a bit :). Seriously, I honestly have no idea what the difference is between a kangaroo and a wallaby (and a walleroo). But, I think this guys is one of them. Hope you enjoy the pics of our inflatable friend.
Happy hopping!

It's a small world after all.... What part of Alabama are you from? I am from Hoover. My family is from Northwest and Central Alabama. I am currently in Shmesani.
I'm from Montgomery, but went to College in Birmingham. My mom is in Adamsville (just past Forestdale). I also have family in Blountsville and the Auburn area. Drop me an e-mail, maybe we can form an Alabama club :).
Wow.... My family - mother's side is from Hamilton. My dad's side is from Guin, Winfield, and Sulligent. My parents live in Guin. I'll drop you a line soon. :)
